Christopher Kiggins founded SaunaCloud in 2014 with a simple ambition: build infrared saunas around real rooms and real people. The dimensions, cedar interior, heater layout, and everyday experience deserved to be considered together.
That belief still guides each project. Design something you would be proud to put in your own home, show the customer what they are getting, and stay accountable for the details. It is why Christopher still leads every design.
In 2015, he wrote The Definitive Guide to Infrared Saunas — one of the first comprehensive books explaining far-infrared therapy science to a mainstream audience.
Today, SaunaCloud has completed more than 3,000 installations across North America — from luxury homes to five-star hotels like The Westin, Marriott, and Cavallo Point Resort. Every sauna is designed, engineered, and built by the same team that answers the phone when you call.
Now operating from both Diamond Springs, California and Montreal, Quebec, SaunaCloud continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities while maintaining the same hands-on quality and personal service that defined the company from day one.

He founded SaunaCloud not to sell saunas, but to build something the industry was missing: honest engineering backed by real science.

We design VantaWave® heaters, CORE 5™ power delivery, printed circuit boards, Wi-Fi controls, and red light therapy arrays as one integrated ecosystem. That gives our team direct control over compatibility, testing, documentation, and support.
VantaWave® panels operate up to 190°F with a calculated thermal peak near 8 microns. The published full-system average magnetic-field reading is below 0.20 mG at the seated position while operating.

Nominal 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared LEDs are built into the cedar bench, close to your skin. Choose heat, red light, or both through the same Wi-Fi control system, with no separate panel to set up.
