Yes, but the sauna must be purpose-built for outdoor use. Indoor saunas are not engineered for rain, snow, UV exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, or outdoor electrical requirements. The Atlas Outdoor uses a weather-resistant structure, climate-specific insulation, and outdoor-rated electrical protection for year-round exterior installation.

Yes, when it is configured for the installation climate. SaunaCloud specifies R-8 to R-13 insulation based on local conditions, and the 12 kW VantaWave® system is sized for year-round use. Preheat time increases as outdoor temperatures fall. Foundation frost depth and roof snow-load requirements are reviewed for the site and must meet local code.

Capacity follows usable bench length and sitting versus reclining use, not the model name. As an example only, the illustrated configuration seats 3–4 adults in a 7' × 5' interior (8' × 6' × 8' exterior). Your approved project drawing controls the delivered size and layout.

Yes — the bench-integrated red light system is included at no additional charge where configured in your design. It pairs nominal 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared LEDs close to the skin. Use heat, red light, or both through the app-controlled system. Distance varies with posture and layout; the complimentary red light system is excluded from warranty coverage.

Electrical is project-specified — there is no universal breaker size for the Atlas Outdoor name. Your proposal and electrical plans define the dedicated circuit(s) your electrician runs before delivery, with outdoor-rated protection and a disconnect placed per the plans; a licensed electrician makes the final connection to local code. The illustrated example configuration uses a dedicated 240V hardwired circuit, GFCI-protected.

A-grade clear Western Red Canadian Cedar, kiln-dried and hand-selected for its natural resistance to moisture, decay, and insects. Outdoor wood still moves and weathers over time, so periodic exterior inspection and re-sealing are part of normal ownership. The exterior is finished in vertical black wood paneling.

On any level, drainable surface — a concrete pad, paver patio, or reinforced deck. Allow 2–3 feet of clearance on all sides. We recommend keeping it out of direct sunlight when possible to preserve the wood's natural color over time.

Most Atlas Outdoor orders ship within 10–14 weeks of final design approval. Shipping is a flat $999 per order, added automatically. Wood ships curbside via freight; remaining components arrive by courier to your door — you'll receive tracking and the carrier will call to schedule your delivery window.

Residential product lifetime is 7 years from final delivery, with 7 years on heaters, 3 years on power, controls, and junction boxes, 1 year on lights, speakers, and covered accessories, and a separate 3-year outdoor roof warranty. The complimentary red light system is included at no additional charge and is not covered. Wood, labor, diagnosis, electrician costs, and replacement-part freight are also not covered; natural wood variation is not a defect. Commercial installations have 1-year covered-parts coverage.

All powered equipment produces electric and magnetic fields. The VantaWave® system is engineered for low magnetic-field output through its wiring, grounding, shielding, and CORE 5 power delivery. Average output is about 0.20mG in the measured system scope — test scopes, meters, and distances vary, so we don't present one number as every build's result.
